The LJFF helped found the I Promise School in 2018 and continues to play a major role in its daily operations.
Michele Campbell is an Akron-native and has devoted her career to education. She has served as the Executive Director of the LJFF since 2010, where she helps further the organization's mission to positively impact the lives of children and young adults through education.
Campbell is featured in the Quibi docuseries, "I PROMISE," which chronicles the opening of the I Promise School from the perspective of students, teachers, parents and James himself.
